Last updated:

Effective:

Version:

These terms apply to players, organisers, administrators, and visitors. Organisers also agree to the Organiser and Billing Terms.

1. Who these terms apply to

These Terms of Use apply to anyone who accesses ScoreSocial. ScoreSocial is operated by Dean Reid. These terms apply together with the Privacy and Data Policy, the Cookie and Local Storage Policy, and, for organisers, the Organiser and Billing Terms.

2. What ScoreSocial does

ScoreSocial provides football prediction leagues, social leaderboards, organisations, pools, events, admin tools, invite codes, access requests, branding, exports, notifications, support tools, and web/PWA/mobile companion flows.

ScoreSocial is not a betting, lottery, staking, prize-fund, escrow, winnings, or payout platform.

3. Eligibility and acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old to use ScoreSocial. By registering, joining, or requesting access, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and accept the current Terms and Privacy and Data Policy.

We record the terms version, privacy version, age threshold, source, and acceptance time for new registration and join flows.

4. Accounts and access

  • You must provide accurate account information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your PIN, session, and device secure.
  • You must not share accounts, impersonate others, or try to access another user's account.
  • Organisations may be private, invite-only, open to requests, or otherwise configured by organisers.
  • Access may be removed if you breach these terms, organiser rules, or platform safety rules.

5. Prediction cards, pools, events, and leaderboards

  • Prediction deadlines, scoring rules, fixture rules, and event rules may vary by organisation or feature.
  • Entries may lock after deadlines or when fixtures start, depending on the configured workflow.
  • Scores and standings may be calculated from third-party sports data and internal scoring rules.
  • Results, rankings, allocations, and event standings may be corrected if data errors or scoring issues are found.
  • Leaderboards are for sporting prediction and social ranking only.

6. No betting, stakes, or prize funds

You must not use ScoreSocial to place bets, accept bets, collect stakes, hold funds, advertise odds, run lotteries, run paid-entry prize competitions, run regulated sweepstakes, pay winnings, distribute prize funds, or otherwise facilitate wagering or regulated gaming.

8. User content and intellectual property

User content may include usernames, display names, organisation names, logos, branding, event names, pool names, descriptions, bug reports, screenshots, and other submitted text or media. You must have the rights needed to submit content.

Users and organisers retain responsibility for their submitted content, and grant ScoreSocial the rights needed to host, display, process, moderate, back up, and operate that content as part of the service.

9. Moderation and enforcement

ScoreSocial may warn users, remove or rename content, suspend accounts, remove organisations, disable features, or terminate access where needed to protect users, organisers, providers, the platform, or legal compliance.

To report content, safety, IP, or security concerns, contact support@scoresocial.app.

10. Billing and subscriptions

Paid organiser self-serve checkout is not available in this release. Paid access is handled by invitation or direct support contact only.

Organiser subscription rules are set out in the Organiser and Billing Terms. Stripe billing is for organiser software subscriptions only and must not be used for player entry payments, stakes, prize funds, winnings, regulated gaming funds, or payouts.

11. Data export and deletion

Personal product exports provide account and prediction data and are available on every league plan. Statutory privacy rights are handled separately. See Data Export and Subject Access Requests and Data Deletion and Account Closure.

12. Availability, changes, and liability

ScoreSocial is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, fixture availability, sports data accuracy, notification delivery, offline sync success, or app-store availability.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScoreSocial is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, third-party service failures, sports data errors, organiser conduct, or external payment/prize arrangements.

13. Governing law, complaints, and contact

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer rights that may apply in a user's location.

Questions, complaints, or appeal requests can be sent to support@scoresocial.app.
