Terms of Service

1. Service description

ScoreSocial is a private, invitation-only weekly football prediction competition. Each week, a coupon of 30 football matches is published. Participants submit their predicted outcomes before the deadline. Predictions are scored automatically after matches settle, and a leaderboard and season standings are updated. The service is operated by ScoreSocial Admin (“we”, “us”, or “the organiser”).

2. Eligibility

• You must be 16 years of age or older to participate. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
• Participation is by invitation only. Accounts may only be created using an invite code provided by the organiser.
• You must provide accurate information when registering. One account per person is permitted.

3. Prediction submission deadlines

Each coupon has a submission deadline, typically set to the kick-off time of the first match on the coupon. The deadline is displayed on the entry page.

• Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted.
• Partial submissions (where not all 30 predictions are made) are not accepted; all 30 predictions must be submitted at once.
• It is your responsibility to submit before the deadline. Technical difficulties are not grounds for late entry.

4. Scoring and results

Scoring is automated using ESPN match result data. Points are awarded according to the scoring rules communicated to participants at the start of each season.

• Void fixtures (postponed or cancelled matches) are excluded from correct-prediction counts and do not affect scores.
• In the event of a dispute or data error, the organiser's decision is final.
• Season standings are recalculated automatically after each coupon is scored and reflect the cumulative points for the season.

5. Account suspension

The organiser reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any account for reasons including but not limited to:

• Providing false information at registration
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to another participant's account
• Abuse of the bug report or notification systems
• Any behaviour the organiser reasonably considers harmful to the competition

6. Service availability

We aim to keep the service available throughout each coupon week, but we provide no uptime guarantee. The service is provided on a best-effort basis. Scheduled maintenance, third-party infrastructure outages, or unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary unavailability. We are not liable for any losses arising from downtime or service disruption.

7. Your data rights

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from participation in ScoreSocial shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any revisions. Continued participation in the competition after a material change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
